Frequently Asked Questions :

Are you having problems logging in or using the facilities at this site? Select from the list below of common problems and follow the instructions provided.

1. Im having trouble viewing the reports. Are there any settings that I need to do on my browser?
The information at this site is best viewed with the below mentioned browser settings. In case your browser settings do not match the below, we strongly recommend that you change the same, before you view the site.
IE 5.0 and above OR Netscape 4.0 and above
800*600 resolution
256 color
In your browser the following settings to be enabled :
Cookies to be set to ‘Enabled’.

You can find this Under Tools --> Internet Options on the main Menu Bar of IE 5.0 browser --> Internet Options --> Security --> Set focus on " Internet", click "Custom Level" ---> "Cookies" to be set to ‘Enabled’

Refresh Page settings to be set to "Every visit to the page".

You can find this Under Tools --> Internet Options on the main Menu Bar of IE 5.0 browser --> Internet Options --> General ---> Temporary Internet Files --> Settings --> "Check for newer versions of stored pages" to be set to "Every visit to the page"

 
2. I am a new user. How can I become a member?
Welcome to the new interactive Customer Information initiative from Tata Steel. This facility is currently provided to a representative set of customers, and we aim to roll this out to all our customers in the near future.

As a customer of Tata Steel, we invite you to fill out the New User Registration form, so that we can get back to you at the earliest with information on when you can join up.

3. I’ve forgotten my password. How do I get a new one?
If you have forgotten your password, or your password is not working for some reason, you can easily get a new one. All you need to do is contact your Tata Steel Customer Account Manager, and a new password will be allotted to you within 5 working days.
 
4. My password has been compromised. How do I change my existing password?
Use your existing password to enter the Main Menu page. From there, click the ‘Change Password’ button to access the change password screen. You can change your existing password by typing the Old Password, then the New Password, and the New Password once more for confirmation. Click ‘Submit’ to activate the New Password. After this any future login will have to be using the New Password.
 
5. I’ve forgotten my User Id. How do I retrieve it?
Your User Id is the Customer Code number given to you by your Tata Steel Customer Account Manager. In case you have forgotten or misplaced this, please contact your CAM for the same.
